3A little about this card.Dec 04, 2009
By C. Bodley
First I'd like to start by saying, the seller shipped the item quickly, and the cards arrived undamaged. However, for the quality of this card, it is not worth more than $20.00 anywhere. This card does work with Linux (Ubuntu) and the free ZoneMinder CCTV software using the BTTV driver (card=77 tuner=0). Also, this card has only one main chip, so the video will be choppy when running all 4 cameras. Usually, I can get about 2.5 frames per second (per each camera) from this card. For further identification of this card, the "lspci" command in Linux should show two devices from (Brooktree Corporation). One device is for video, the other is for the single audio input to the far left in the picture. While this card is functional, it does not give the high frames (streaming video) that other cards offer. This is why I say it isn't worth more than $20.
