4Worth the moneyOct 02, 2009

I don't normally take the time to write a review on a product of this price but I feel got more than I paid for.
Instructions are never that helpful with these sort of products but in this case they were easy to read and for the most part accurate.
This was a simple purchase to add remote key less entry to an older vehicle and it works great I was able to install with no previous experience in about an hour.
Product is small well made and came with some additional features like blinking blue dash light when doors are locked (looks like an alarm) parking light flash, horn honk, and dome light supervision, 2 three button remotes that don't look cheap and other features I had the option for but chose not to use.
For the price it's a great buy.

4Everything that I expectedMar 05, 2010

I installed this unit in my 1992 BMW, which took about 20 minutes. All I need for this car is a lock and unlock signal. This unit provides the signal and works well. The BMW uses either front door lock or the trunk lock to provide the central locking system with the signal to operate the actuators. All I had to do was install this unit in the trunk behind a trim panel wired in parallel with the trunk lock switch. I did not use the dome light, parking lights, horn honk, etc. options.

The installation instructions are not worth much, maybe nothing. Before I installed this system in my car I "installed" it on my workbench to check operation, function and identify wire leads. I had previously 'reversed engineered' a different system for another vehicle to find relay contacts and coil controls, etc. Fortunately the K20 system uses the same wire colors for the same functions as my first system. This gave me a head start, otherwise it would have taken a long time to determine functions.

5$24.99 at the time, can't beat that!May 20, 2009

Everything works well and since this isn't a full-out security system, there are definitely fewer wires. I installed this in a night and the range is pretty amazing even though my module and antenna are at the center of the car wiring behind the steering column. I've had no issues with it and the remote for it looks and feels pretty good.

5Good keyless entry for the priceMay 10, 2009
By D. Bloom
I just finished installing this in a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. The key is finding the details about your specific vehicle's wiring. I was able to find a site that had step by step directions with pics. The caravan was not the easiest install, some of the wires are difficult to get to, but I was able to finish in about 4hrs. I have installed many stereo systems in the past, but this was my first keyless system install. It is a doable project if you find good info on your car.

The quality of the system seems good. The remotes are solid and the range is very good.

The item is definitely good use for the price if you are electronically incline do it yourself or have qualified individual install it for you. The item practically plug and play for fraction of a price dealer will charge. I give 2 thumbs, 8 fingers, and 12 toes UPPPPP :)
