They work great for me.Jul 28, 2011
By steveo Got everything working in little under 2 hours. had to do some trial and error with the port forwarding, but other than that it was a clean install. they work great, placed them around the house in rooms and entrances, should catch any thief red handed. we are looking to add a few more if these hold up well.

Just what I wantedFeb 11, 2012
By Richard Langis Jr. Picked these up for the low price and wifi connectivity. After reading some of the reviews I thought the instructions couldn't be THAT bad, could they? Well, they are, so pretty much toss them out the window. I'm very technically minded so I was able to get all three up and running under an hour without installing any software. I connected them each, one at a time, to my router with the included wired cable. Then I checked the router for any new devices, hit up that IP in my browser and configured the camera over the network. Disconnect, place camera elsewhere in the house, rinse, repeat, wipe hands on pants.
For the dynamic IP, I don't use DynDNS, but rather FreeDNS so all of my configuration was on the router side.
The ONLY thing I had an issue with was finding the default user/password to get into the configuration. It's not part of the text of the manual like you'd expect, but rather part of an image of the login screen. Of course, since the instruction manual has been universally regarded as a pile of crap, that wasn't surprising.
Rating is for the hardware and software, NOT the instructions. Because real men don't read the damned instructions anyway.

Mixed bagSep 02, 2011
By Bagman This camera works very well when wired or with WiFi internally, however the set up for remote internet access is too complex and the instructions are vague at best!

Worst camera ever!May 12, 2012
By goose The camera wireless does not work. Drops after a few hours. It does not even pick up the wifi signal after it drops. No customer support. you call and no one ever picks up or returns your call. Camera only works well if it is wired in and not using wifi signal.
