Unfair return practiceApr 22, 2010
By J. M. SALES The solar light I purchased would have been great if it worked. The first light that was sent to me was the wrong light. A return label was sent to return it. When the correct light arrived did not work. After contacting Amazon and the vendor I was told to contact the manfacturer to make sure it was defective. They told me it was and I should return it. I again contacted Amazon and was told to return it (at my cost) for a replacement. I'm very disapointed that I have to pay shipping to return a defective item. You can be sure I'll think twice before ordering from them again. Jim S, FL

Warning - do not buy this piece of trash.Sep 16, 2010
By David Tanaka At first I was very impressed by the system. Works great at first and the light is bright. After 5 months it stopped working and nothing would get the battery to charge again. Other reviewers for the 50 and 80 LED lights, model # 40224 & 40225 had a similar experience. Seems like this is a known defect and Maxsa continues to sell their defective lights, leaving the consumers stuck with their bad inventory. The warranty is only for 90 days but the light breaks after the warranty ends. If I had known this light would last less than 5 months I would have never made such an expensive purchase. Warning - do not buy this piece of trash.
