I had some problems with modifying the time and date stamp and contacted the Sphere Gadget Technologies support by email. They responded within hours and walked me through my inquiry. They also came back with a follow up call to make sure my problem was fixed.

This is a excellent hidden camera for the money. I've been looking around for one for a while and this has the most reasonable price for the spec. Here is what I have to say:
Pros -
lightweight: its weighs just like a normal pen
easy to carry around: no accessories needed. You don't even need the charger unit. It charges straight off a USB port
video quality: 640 x 480 pixels. The quality you usually see on youtube (non-HD vids). Runs at nominal 30FPS but reduces to 25FPS occasionally.
Compatible: it claims to be compatible with all PC, Linux and Macs... from what I've tried it works on Mac and PC and on the ipad as well. On the ipad the videos and images automatically uploads to your photo album.
Recording time: I've tried recording to the maximum and it does just over 1 hour and 25 minutes using up the complete 4GB of hard disk memory. The size of file varies depending on recording behavior.
Writes well: just like a normal pen
Camera well concealed: the pen itself is black, and the pinhole camera lens is dark enough to blend into the pen as one.
Solid construction: looks and feels well built
easy user interface: one button does it all.
Great value: as I've said, good for the money.
Cons -
lack of audio feature to abide with hidden camera regulations, only 4GB spec to choose from, light status can be confusing at times, needs to be fixed on vertically to capture images in correct orientation, cannot overcharge
What I wished - A HD version. Auto overcharge protection.

I'm not a 'techie' dude and I don't get excited over the latest gadgets. I prefer to chose technology to satisfy my needs.
This spy pen suits me perfectly.
I did my research online, and I didn't want to waste money on something that is unreliable, inefficient, or too costly. I've ended up getting the wrong products too many times buying things online, especially on ebay! Amazon is much better but you still can't slack off.
The portability, easy of use, and the quick start-up of this hidden camera is perfect for me. Anyone should know if you see something funny or worth recording, it ends in a split second before your camera records the first second of the moment. This product records within 1-2 seconds of start up. It's very easy to use - it has one single button only and it activates the recording by holding the button down, and mode changes with a series of short clicks.
I have no complaints.
I would recommend this to any of my friends or family. I love it!

Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R1LTS7QZGHN38A This video is taken with the sphere pen camera. Video resolution is 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames per second. The video is unedited and is the original file directly copied from the 4GB internal memory of the pen camera. However, I do not know if amazon system affects the original video settings.
VIDEO: Overall video quality is outstanding. Panning the camera does not affect picture stability. The pen does not work so great in low light (I had my room lights off while shooting this video to reduce the light reflection from the glass of the fish tank). The pen works very well in bright light conditions. Frame rate is very fluid. The focus and exposure is set automatically just like a digital camera would.
AUDIO: there's no audio for it to be LEGAL surveillance equipment. (this IS a hidden camera)
CONSTRUCTION: robust construction with a solid feel. It looks slightly larger than a real pen so that might be a giveaway to others! The operation button is finished with a nice metal-washed texture which makes it look expensive (for all that matters!) The lens is very tiny and obscured in the black body of the pen.
PRICE: These spy pens can range from $15 to $200. Never get the ones that are very cheap because I've done that been there with ebay - and it's just a complete waste of money. The quality and spec of this model is a good deal for it's price.
INTERNAL MEMORY: This comes with a 4GB of memory and is more than enough for your videos - unless you want to use it to store other personal files.
COMPATIBILITY: This works on my windows Vista and ON MY IPAD!!! (you'll need to get the camera file transfer kit from apple store)... and I don't know about the rest of the O/S

This is a great pen camera that is well designed and does the job I need it to do. The hidden camera is only noticeable if I told someone this is a spy pen. The quality is better than I expected in its price range. I use my ipad to edit the videos and works wonderful. I got the camera adapter for my ipad and this pen camera loads files very quickly. In terms of operation, recording video is easy to learn and quite straight forward. I didn't need any drivers or programs - it loaded up as a separate disk file on the desktop. It comes with a 120v adapter but I prefer to use the USB charger so I can bring one less cable on my business trips. I wished this spy pen recorded audio but that would involve legal issues if I was caught using one. It makes sense to remove the audio feature so it isn't a form of hidden voice recorder which is illegal in the US. Other than that, this is a magnificent product for exhibitions and evidence recording.
