For a fake camera this is really cool. It takes two AA batteries and when you walk by the red light flashes about 10-15 times. You push down the dome to turn it on or off. It is easy to mount on the wall or the ceiling. It looks like a product that will last for years.

Real dome cameras have shiny glass domes that are harder to see thru. These have plastic domes which are also easily scratched (by black base housing) when pushed up/down to activate flashing light. Also red light can only be activated once before it takes a "break" for about 5 minutes even if movement continues in front of the camera! I think 2 AA batteries are alot of wasted energy for one small LED. Why can't product be designed to use one BUTTON battery instead.
PS - Product box states that features include "Motorized Pan movement" when in reality the only feature is a motion activated red light!

I am very happy with these cameras. I didn't want the expense of installing a security system and this sounded like a great alternative. It is! They realy look real and you don't have to install the batteries. I have had compliments about protecting my property. When asked detailed questions about my system, I don't give any, just say it's hooked up to my computer! Not sure how long these will last outdoors, but I am happy I have them.

Doesn't work as good as expected. Better to go for something like - Automatic phone dialer.
