This is an additional door or window sensor for the Mace wireless system. The unit does what it must and has some nice options such as making an alert sound or only sending a silent signal to the main controller. Being wireless is a great plus because you do not need to run wires and that means there are no wires to cut or be tampered with.

The door sensor works but the alarm isnt much of decoy. It only sounds for a few seconds. When used with the entire system(keypad) again it works but if you want quality features this wont do it. If you just want something very basic yes this works. Just dont expect a brinks like system.

I don't like having strangers install secruity systems in my home so this systme was an amazing option. Very easy to install and works like a charm! Love it.

Good unit and works as advertised. Wanted to use it inside my metal shop about 125 feet away and had to be creative on boosting the reception capability in order to make it work. After all, rf signals and metal enclosures don't work too well together.
